Not sure what to say?

Gaye,
I was so sad when I heard you lost Jimmy. I wanted to wrap my arms around you...I hope soon that I will.

I knew Jimmy through my boyfriend, Chad. They worked together at Red Lobster, and were inseperable for a good year or two. I didn't get particularly close to him personally, mostly because I had a giant crush on him and didn't want to make that kinda thing too obvious. What a cute boy. :-) I've lived in Arizona all summer, and got the news as soon as I touched down in Ohio again. My heart goes out to all his family and friends.

Gaye, Steve, and Lisa,

When I think of Jimmy I am reminded of his smile, jokes, and friendly nature. My favorite memory of Jimmy was during his senior year playing soccer at Westerville South. The team was heading toward Toledo and one of the "starters" wasn't wearing dress slacks that were required for traveling games. Rather than have the team suffer from a missing valuable player, Jimmy offered his own pants to his teammate because he felt the team needed the other player more...

Jimmy was the nicest young man. I have many good memories working with him. I remember a time I was really sick and there was nobody willing to work for me, someone later agreed to. I found out later Jimmy paid that person 20$ to work for me since he could not himself. He was so thoughtful and kind.I am blessed to have known him. My heart goes out to his loved ones.

Steve-
I believe you are the same Steve Clapp I worked with at MPW. I am so, so sorry for the loss of your son. Ironically, I was reading the obituraries to view that of my husband, John who we also lost way too early. Steve, I've read some of the notes and know your son was a wonderful person. I know John will take care of him. Feeling your pain,
Nicci Scanlan

Jimmy was a cute boy, he bought me flowers and chocolate to my gymnastics practice :) He is a beautiful boy with a sweet soul. May God hold you in your emotional and physical pain. Whatever he was struggling with he is free...

To Jimmy C., the man who opened my soul with roses, chocolates, and jokes I send you my love, hugs, tears, and kisses

with love and belief that you are at peace,

Bridgette K

Dear Clapp Family,
I am a stranger to you, yet I feel compelled to write you a note. I had the pleasure of sitting next to Jimmy at the 2007 Little Brown Jug. He reminded me of my son (looks, humor, personality) and it didn't take long before we were joking with each other. Jimmy helped make my first and only "Jug" experience enjoyable. As well as with many other people who knew Jimmy, he left a favorable impression on me. He was a nice, pleasant, fun-loving and courteous young...

Dear Lisa and Mr./Mrs. Clapp,
I am so sorry for your loss. Whenever I was with Jimmy he always brought a smile to my face and I will truly miss him.

To Jimmy's parents, sister, family, and friends, you have all been in my thoughts and prayers since I heard of Jimmy's passing.

He will always be remembered and will continue to bring smiles to people's faces through their many memories of him. May those happy memories help to ease the incredible pain left in his absence.
