At this moment as I browse through my truly prized Senior Yearbook, The Mastiff,1961, I am deeply moved as I note Mr. Collins' signature so carefully written along the border of his photo on page 9. At that time in his life, he was a Science teacher, and I was fortunate enough to be in his Chemistry class. He was also sponsor of the 8th Grade,the Science Club, and Boys' Basketball. He was a role model and a part of my past never to be forgotten. Farewell, Mr. Collins.

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Collins. He was a very special man and had a positive influence on so many lives through his years in education.
