Belatedly, I would like to extend my sympathies to my Aunt Mary, Jenny, Art, Jim and Jeff. Chicago seemed like a long way from Toledo after you moved but you all had a knack for making us feel at home and part of the family whenever we got to Chicago. I'm very sorry that I didn't learn of Jim's passing earlier, and I express my sympathy to his family. I worked for Jim for 5 years in the Tower, during Jim's tenure as NMM of the Footwear Dept.
I didn't like the Tower too much, but Jim enabled me to keep my sanity during those years - he was a wonderful boss! People who didn't work for Sears in the Tower would be hard pressed to understand the stress in those days, and he made it easier for everyone, with a wonderful sense of humor. I'm...
