James William Cork

The daughter's of Floyd and Peggy McDonald, Shadeema, Shamara, Marla and Brieanna express our deep sorrow and sincere condolences with the loss of Uncle Peabody. He will be truly missed.

I have nothing but fond memories of James 'Peabody' Cork. I was a year behind him in Hamlin schools. When DePriest school joined us at Hamlin High in the fall of 1965, we acquired a new bunch of lifetime friends. I saw Peabody at homecoming in 2023 I believe. I introduced him to my wife and he promptly told her that 'we' is family not friends! We are very fortunate to have known and have James Cork in our lives.
