Not sure what to say?

Thank you to all for you thoughts and condolences. Coach enjoyed his students and friends so much, he did put his all into making the world a better place for all friends and family. Thank you for your comments.

It's hard to put into words my feelings for Coach Crawford. I was a Sophomore when he came to St. David and he coached (guided) me for 3 years. I was working in a gas station/garage in Benson after school and on weekends and sometimes he would come by in the evenings and we would just talk while I changed his oil or rotated his tires on his '57 Chevy. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

It is true that Coach Crawford inspired and influenced many students and athletes. He has surely left a coaching legacy in St. David and Southern Arizona, but to me, he was my dad. I feel so blessed that I had Coach by my side both on the field and at home. I will always love and miss him dearly, and will live with the examples and lessons he's left me.

prayers to his family

Coach Crawford was a giant of a man. Aside from my own father I believe he has had the most influence on me and inspired me to be the man I am today. Just as my father, if I can be half the man that Coach was, then I can consider myself a success. Coach you will be missed greatly. My condolences to the surviving family. May God bless you and keep you in this difficult time.

My prayers are with you and the family.
