Each day I pick up Uncle Jim´s guitar and play a few chords, I am eternally grateful he shared the gift of music with me. Other than the occasional string change, I keep it just the way he left it, Grateful Dead pins and all.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Jim's passing, he was a good man and revered by my wife and I. Jim was brilliant and had a vast knowledge on many topics of conversation. Jim's musical prowess was beyond impressive. Jim was humble and never egocentric. We had many great times together especially when we all enjoyed musical performances. Anyone who knew Jim could not deny his illuminating presence. May Jim rest in Peace and his family's bereavement be replaced with joy. Jim is at peace.

I worked with Jim. He never knew how funny he really was. We laughed a lot. Years later he helped me close on my home.
I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. You have my deepest condolences.
He made an impact in my life and I will always remember him.
