James "Jim" Dempsey

Joyce, Sally and family, I have such fond memories of Jim as a child as we were best of friends during elementary school at Calumet. I´ll share two memories that I still think of and laugh today. the first was when we were on safety patrol in the fifth or sixth grade. We were on the two farthest post on the south end of the route on the corners of Medary and Arcadia. Jim will be remembered by me each time I see his handiwork at the front of Redeemer Lutheran Church. If I remember correctly, one of his many acts of service was in the building of the altar, pulpit and baptismal font years ago. Melanie and Matt, our thoughts and prayers of comfort are with you.
