We still can't believe that Dr. Edwards is gone. He was our vet since moving to Worthington in 1983. He treated every pet as though they were the most important one in the world. As we were contemplating putting our dog to sleep he shared with me the pain of losing his two labs. What a wonderful doctor and human being he was!! We hope he is surrounded by all the animals he so lovingly attended. Dr. Edwards and his staff have gone above and beyond to give our pets good care and help US through...

When I visited Columbus in the summers as a kid the twins would take me under their wing - or at least as much as teenagers and big OSU students would take a 7-yr younger cousin under their wings. Jimmy and his twin introduced me to model trains, canoeing and kayaking, Frisbees, and back-yard whiffle baseball. Until I learned to swim they had to take me to the pool on Valleyview Dr and watch over me. The summer family reunions have always been fond memories. When possible, Jimmy would show me...

Jim was a great help to my family. He cared for and saved many of our pets. He even was kind enough to come to the house to put my sisters dog Zack down.
He was a role model and mentor to my sister, Linda, prior to her death.
Jim was a wonderful man and we are sad to learn of his passing.

We all will miss Jim. He was a role model for all of us in Veterinary Medicine. I worked under his direction in the beginning of CVES. He was a great leader with lots of patience, and perserverence. He was a kind and gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor. The world and Veterinary Medicine is better, much better because of Jim Edwards.

It is hard to type after reading all these great sentiments. Dr. Edwards has been our family vet for almost 40 years. For the last 3, he has been Jake's vet (my 100lb lab), and although I live 12 hours away, I would still schedule his regular exams in Linworth because Dr. Edwards loved him so much and just had a God given gift with animals.
Amy and family - I'm so sorry about your loss, but what an incredible Dad. You should be so proud of him. His love and passion will continue...
