Dear Linda, I was saddened last week to read of Jim's passing. Jim and I worked together at Snohomish County Planning in the early 1970s. I was always impressed with his friendliness, honesty, sincerity, and work ethic. I consider Jim one of my best friends from that time. We later went our separate ways, and I count myself fortunate that we continued to interact as Jim represented clients in hearings before me.
