Dear Linda,

I was saddened last week to read of Jim's passing.

Jim and I worked together at Snohomish County Planning in the early 1970s. I was always impressed with his friendliness, honesty, sincerity, and work ethic. I consider Jim one of my best friends from that time.

We later went our separate ways, and I count myself fortunate that we continued to interact as Jim represented clients in hearings before me. Jim retained his high ethical standards when he transitioned from the public sector to the private sector. I have missed seeing him in recent years.

I extend my sincerest condolences to you and your family. May the peace of God give you and your family support and comfort.
