Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege of working with Jim during my business career and as a volunteer with HISD. In every case I found Jim to be extremely professional, ethical and courteous. He was also really, really smart. Scary smart. He could boil an issue down like no one else I've seen. Our community will be poorer having lost Jim. My condolences to the family.

My sympathy to your family. Jim's dad and my dad were first cousins, I didn't know Jim, as I left Farimont about the time he was born, but my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our thoughts are with you, Janine, and all your family. Jim was a wonderful man - a great worker with a wonderful disposition and attitude. I will always remember "Eggman" as a dedicated, honest, sincere and smart employee. He cared deeply about his family and friends and was always there for them. Jim made the world a better place and we will all miss him very much.

Jim was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. Please accept our sincerest condolences and know that you will remain in our thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

My heart and prayers go out to you, Janine and your children. Try to remember...that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. The lakehouse has been a tremendous source of comfort and refuge for me, I pray, in time it will do the same for your family. May God bless you all and know he is with you every step of the way.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult moment. Mr. Eggers was always thoughtful and caring all along my career in KPMG. I worked for him in several engagements and was part of his partner circle. When I first got sick he was the first one to provide his support and to make me feel that I had a family here in Houston (all my family is in Mexico). He was a gentle hearth and I am sure his kindness will remain in our hearths.

Dearest Janine and family,
How I pray you feel God's arms wrapped around you. Jim was a very special man, as is your family. Throughout the coming months you will be in my every thought and prayer.

I knew Jim for 25 years after working with him @ Andersen in Tulsa. I'll always remember his thoughtfulness, intelligence and sharp wit. Janine, you and the kids are in our thoughts and prayers.

As a former auditor, I noted that every person who worked for Jim, was eager for his approval and hopeful that he or she would some day be as respected and capable as Jim was. It is a tragic loss in the sense that Jim meant so much to so many people. The esteem of so many offered to one who was gone so soon confirms that I was blessed to know him and my deepest sympathies are extended to his family.
