Not sure what to say?

Just learned of Jims passing-so sorry for the lost to Marg and family-Jim was a kind and good man and the comfort of knowing he lived next to my father was a great comfort to me. Prayers and peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a beloved person and exuded warmth beyond compare. May he Rest In Peace. I am a better person for having known him and for having seen his example of how to be kind, approachable, and interested in everyone he met.

Hello Gerner Family:

So sorry to hear about Jim. Each year when I volunteered with Christmas Bureau I loved working with the wonderful Gerner clan. I will be unable to attend the services as I have family visiting from Mexico.

My sympathy to all of you. (From Mrs. Santa Claus)

Sincere condolences to the hard working family of volunteers with the Johnson County Christmas Bureau at the passing of Jim Gerner. His presence will be sorely missed.

To the Gerner family. I am so sorry to learn of Mr Gerner's death. Please know my thoughts,
prayers, and love are with you.

Jim was such an inspiration in the Personal Care Department, and a much valued volunteer and board member who devoted many hours for the benefit of others at the Christmas Bureau.
A gentle soul who contributed numerous ideas, advice and outreach during his years of serving our organization.

He included his whole family in his mission to help other families during the holidays. His smiling presence at the Holiday Shop
will be greatly missed.
Condolences to his family...

Jim was the recipient of my shoes as I grew into his shoe size. He always teased me about missing my...
