Not sure what to say?

It's nearly two years since I learnt that James had died and I still feel so sad. He was a wonderful, larger than life character and had a huge influence on me. I was in Cambridge recently and so many of my memories include James e.g. punting on the Cam and him standing up and singing the Star Spangled Banner at the top of his voice.

I was a friend of James at Cambridge. I was very sad to hear of his passing away, and I know all of his friends have such good memories of him. I send deep condolences to all of his family. His family and friends are welcome to contact me on [email protected].

I know James was an Econ. and Russian Studies major, as well as a Marshall Scholar. I'd spot James occassionally on campus (Grinnell), usually in ARH. Very sorry and surprised to hear of his passing. Deepest condolences to his family.

This is a picture of me and my 3rd grade teacher Bridgett Hardy from Katherine Brennan School in New Haven Connecticut through the big brother and big sister program. She and Father Cohen introduced us and we have been brothers ever since.

This is my Big Brother..I apologize for being late. I love my big brother with all my heart. He helped me be a greater man and a honest man all my life and we have the greatest memories ever. 38 years .

I knew Jim at Grinnell and was so sorry to hear of his passing. You are in my thoughts.

I knew James well when he was at King's College. I feel so sad that he has died. I have many happy memories and lovely photos. If any family members want to be in touch, please email me at [email protected].

I was a friend of James at Cambridge and we enjoyed a wonderful holiday to Greece together over Easter in 1984. My birthday that year was on Easter Sunday and I still have the beautiful ceramic tray and cups he bought for me in Monemvassia. Condolences to his family
