Our hearts were saddened at the news of Jim's passing. I, Connie, go back as far as 4th grade at Margaret Park School. We continued through Innes, Kenmore High when Don came into the picture! Last night, our entire family went to the first UA basketball game that we could attend - we are season ticket holders.. have been for years. I stuffed my purse with random snacks and headed to the Halloween candy and grabbed a few for our three kids.. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Guest family... I knew Jim for many years as I have a mutal love for playing the saxophone... Jim would sub for me when I could not make the gigs on different occaisions. He truly was a good friend and always had a smile on his face... My family and I have enjoyed Jim's music for years. He and the band even played at one of the surprise Anniversary parties we had for my parents. He would always ask if I wanted to sit in and drum with the band for a few songs and I always enjoyed it. He and his music talents will be missed.
