Read MoreWe lost a great guy - a wonderful man that I used for his expertise in film development while we worked together in 3M's Engineering Systems Division. I will never be able to count the times he saved my backside at work. He was also very much a gentleman with a wonderful sense of humor. I have not had contact with Jim for a long time. I worked with Jim from 1969 until his retirement about 3 years ago. Many great softball games together in the 3M league. He was a great shortstop and an even greater teammate. I have been out of touch and I just heard about it today- Sept. 13th. His old coworkwers and old teammates will miss him. He was great guy and always had kind words for everyone. Rest in peace. My prayers are with the family.
