Not sure what to say?

Pookie was a great singer and friend going back to the 50's .Oh he could really sing and perform alway's dress in style. We followed him from club to club just to see and hear him .Mayfair Mansions and pardise manor neighbor's in N.E. Washington D.C. Alexandria VA.We will alway's keep your songs.

Gd Bless your family.

we really loved him. Miss you Pookie,

I grew up listening to Pooky. his voice was as distinctive as the snow flakes. may GOD bless him and keep his family in His warm embrace

How many people can say a "GREAT EN-
TERTAINER" lived on their street. We both lived on 35th Street NE. I would like to see a day honoring
Pookie on 35th Street.
With Deepest Sympathy. Sandy

The Alice E. Paris family are expressing their condolences. Your Husbands music will always be a favorite of the Paris family.

To: Dee and Family - God bless you and your family as you go through this time of loss. May the many wonderful memories of Pookie bring you comfort and joy. You are in our prayers and thoughts. With Love.

My heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Hudson and the entire family. How lucky are the angels in Heaven to have such a beautiful voice to sing them to sleep!

You could say I grew up with Pookie and the Spaniels. In the late sixties they used to reherse in our basement. Later, we hung out at "Minnies" on 14th Street, N.W. I hung with and the Orioles, back stage, at many clubs in DC in the early seventies. I would later run into Pookie at various clubs in DC. You will be missed but your music will continue to live on. RIP

I recently purchased the PBS television shows highlighting the great "Doo Wop Groups" and I will always remember Pookie for "Good Night Sweetheart" He will truly be missed, and my sympathy goes out to the entire family.

AS A YOUNG GIRL GROWING UP IN DC
HOW WELL DO I REMENBER DANCING TO YOUR MUSIC AT ODD FELLOWS HALL, MY FAVORITE SONG WAS AND STILL IS
"I KNOW" THAT SOFT SWEET VOICE.
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED AND MISSED
AND MY GOD BLESS YOU AND GIVE STRENGTH TO YOUR FAMILY.
