James Alva Hunter, 84, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, at his son's home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Hunter was born in Surry County on April 2, 1938, to the late Lester and Annie Mae Mills Hunter. He retired from Century Link after many years of employment. Mr....
