Not sure what to say?

Dr. Johnson saved my life more than once; I managed to have more terrible illnesses before I was 8 and Dr Johnson was always there. He made house calls & more than once I´d have raging fever and there he was reminding my 5 siblings what they had to do to help me get better. I´m 76 now but some things in life you don´t forget. Dr Johnson was a Godsend and I owe him my life. Although late, please accept my deepest sympathies. Beverly (Huften) Ward

Thinking of Dr. Johnson. His empathy and kindness with his patients was greatly appreciated. And he had a very comforting sense of humor. Prayers

Dr. Johnson, thank you for your empathic care during my childhood. I can hear you typing out my prescription on that reliable typewriter of yours. Rest in peace, you were a very kind and caring doc, thank you.

Dr Johnson was a legend in Binghamton NY. And the funnest doctor who ever chased us around our house to give us our shots!!! Great doctor, great Dad, great family. Thank you Dr Johnson!

Very belated condolences from Ireand

My prayers are with Nikki, Margaret, Kate and Peter and their families at this time of sadness. Jim was one of my first teachers and role models in pediatrics. Over the past 6 decades, he became a friend and a guide. I learnt only yesterday that he is no more and am deeply saddened. Balu

I was so sorry to read that Dr. Johnson has died. My late father, Dr. Morris Goodman, was a pediatric colleague of his in Binghamton. Peter and I were classmates (and fellow French Horn players) at Alexander Hamilton elementary school and West Junior High School. Dr. Johnson was a kind man and a well-respected physician.

We will really miss him! His wit and wisdom, sage counsel and advice, seeing him at family gatherings what a loss. He promised 125 years and almost made it :). Our deepest sympathy to our Johnson cousins, from the family of Margaret Johnson (Jims sister) & Calvin Friar: Bill Plikaitis, Julie Friar, Margaret Friar-Plikaitis, Luke Plikaitis.
