Not sure what to say?

Three years later here we are. There's days that go by with a joy of knowing you are with our Lord and Savior, but there are also the days I wish I could just pick up the phone and call you and talk about the day, the evening, updates about the kiddos, but I can't. So each of us keep going strong because we know you are with joy in the best life possible, the eternal life. Miss you Daddy. ~Nikki

Today, 1 year ago... I lost my Dad. My heart misses my Daddy so much. I am blessed to have had the best father a daughter could have. He gave my brother, his grandchildren and I so many memories that we will never forget. My father was the hardest working, loyal, compassionate, strong and intelligent man I know. He was my best critic but I am thankful for his persistence. That was his stern way of loving and caring. My life changed the day I lost him. I know he's one proud Papa. In Heaven...

Laddy,

You were a great friend to our family (Orr), you will be missed.

Joey Orr

My wife and I have been on vacation; when we returned, I learned about Jim's passing. I had the good fortune of meeting and working with Jim at Valentine-Radford Advertising in the late 1970s. Since then, I relied on Jim -- regularly -- to write articles for my clients. He was truly a master publicist and a great friend. I will miss him.

Thank you all. I cherish any and all remembrances and notes from you about your time with Jim.

One of my very best friends. They say you are lucky if you have a friend that you would be willing to jump in front of and stop a bullet heading for him. Jim is one of the people in my life that I would have done this for.

Jim has been a part of my life since middle school days as he was the best friend to my sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Kurt Buer. He never treated me as the pesky little sister to Nancy. I met Susan 2 years ago when they came to a bbq/bonfire we were having when Nancy and Kurt were here visiting. We're all so very grateful to have had him and Susan with us. He's been a part of my life for over 50 years and we will miss him.

Rest in peace, Jim Edward. I am honored to have been your friend.
