Not sure what to say?

Mr. & Mrs. Lewis,

Tom, you taught my daugher, Mary at South several years ago. I was so sorry to hear this news. You were always so kind to my daughter. My thoughts are with you and your family during this time.

Laura Lucas

Dear Carol and family I am writing this note to you with a heavy heart. The tragic news of Jimmy death made me sad to
the bone. Please know the grace of God will hold you during this most difficult time. You will be remember in our family prayers. Kay Mettz Alpaugh Class of 1971 Capt Shreve

My favorite memory of Jimmy Lewis would have to be my first ever three-day packing trip: when he was one of the backpacking counselors at Falling Creek Camp. That trip was full of laughs and memories I will always keep close to my heart. Thanks Jimmy Lewis I will miss you

My deepest condolances to Carol and the family. I never knew Jimmy but I worked with his mom at Decatur Federal about the time he was born. Bob and I are so very saddened by this tragic news.

My favorite memory of Jimmy was the night before his graduation at Appalachian State. Jimmy, my brother Shook and I celebrated with countless bottles of Champagne at a local bar in Boone. All through the night people were calling out to him, and stopping by to offer their congratulations. It was the kind of night you didnt want to ever end. Everyone, including me, wanted to be around him, and his larger than life personality. His spirit touched all those he came in contact with, and there...

I was a friend of Jimmy's at NCKU. What a charming, sweet young man. He always put me at ease and was a joy to be around. My heart goes out to you, his parents, family and loved ones in this hard time.

Laura and I had the pleasure of becoming friends with Jimmy at Falling Creek. I remember well, the van rides back from his hiking trips and the catch phrases that had to be said along the way. His passion for the outdoors was infectious. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone left to mourn his passing.

Carol,

I am so sorry for the unspeakable and unthinkable loss of your child. What a terrible way for us to reconnect. Lean on friends and family - know that somehow you will live through this. God speed to Jimmy.

I hope we can keep in touch. Mary Nell Thompson Billings - Rhodes College

Your kindness, hope and smile are stay with us... to fulfill your friends' lives as wonderful as yours.

I will pray for you and condole to your family at all...

We always love you...
