He would on occasion walk past my house, not far from his, and enjoy watching my son and I throw a baseball around. He was generous with his time and wisdom. I am shocked at his passing because I had no idea. I have a few conversations left outstanding with him, as did my son.

So sorry to hear of Jim´s passing. We became friends through our association with The Queen´s Own Rifles of Canada. I always enjoyed his sense of humour and warm personality. He will be missed!!!

So sorry to lose such a good friend and colleague. His "Follow me" leadership ethos was an inspiration to his former cadets at UCC, TCS and 2881 cadet corps! He will be sorely missed by all.
