Not sure what to say?

Dear Claire and family - I just learned of your loss from Aunt Gladys. Had I known, I would have been there for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hope you are all doing well. Fondly, your cousin Carol.

You made my sons feel welcomed and special as they performed in the band. I treasure memories of the summer concerts from Baltimore to Atlantic City to Whitpain township. You were one of a kind. My deepest sympathy to the entire Madden family. A Mom who appreciated the time you spent with elementary school children.

Jim, Your presence is so missed at SBA; from the beginning you were a gift to us. Nover believing you would take the job and the pay cut, you proved me wrong. It was a privilege working with you; I still see you walking, later riding, down the corridor from the band room and into the music room to ask me about something. I miss that.

Claire I will be in touch again soon and plan a visit. God be with you, Claire. You're in my prayers.

To all the Madden Family--belated condolences on Jim's passing. He was Liam's all time favorite teacher and source of inspiration. Music lessons were fun, fun, fun. The Madden Family Ambler PA

Jim Madden was the music teacher that my elementary students loved. They were always excited and prepared for their lessons and band practices. They returned to class energized and excited about being part of the music program. Jim helped them understand that they could be part of that which is the creation of music.

whenever I hear "Pennies from Heaven", I always think of Jimmy and the Manhattans -- it was a privilege to know him & the family

Dr. Madden will truly be missed. He is the one who inspired me to pursue music and got me where I am today, an exchange student in Milan Italy.
My dearest sympathy to Mrs. Madden.
Thanks a million,
Jonathan Cassidy
