Not sure what to say?

I worked with Jim for more than 20 years. He cared deeply about New Mexico and enjoyed publishing books that delved into local history, culture, and language. We worked together well, and I will miss him. RIP, old friend.

As head of Museum of New Mexico Publications, Jim became responsible for my work at the Press of the Palace of the Governors, the museum's working historic print shop. We had our share of quibbles and rewarding collaborative projects and remained friends as museum veterans. I admired his capacity to revel in wilderness experiences despite the challenges they brought him. He will forever be part of my memories.

So sorry for Jim's passing, Samantha & Anna. He was such a pillar in Santa Fe's publishing industry and it was great to just cross paths around town all these years. Love to the family...

I will miss Jim, he always had a good story to tell over a glass of wine of his adventures and the people he met. My condolences to the family.

What a great friend. We hiked, dined, rock climbed and enjoyed his company. When we go to Santa Fe there will be a huge gap in our visit We love you and will miss you.
