Not sure what to say?

God bless you Jim,
You are one of my hero's. I met you playing basketball when you were in your 60's & treasured our friendship the next 18 years seeing you on the court, CYO games, Ascension or wherever. What a model you are for all of us as a father, spouse, friend, teammate & catholic. Thank you for bringing a smile to all of us every time we saw you & may the memories your family & friends have help ease the pain of your loss. You were a gem & a dandy. Hang in there Maher family,...

What a very thoughtful person, I'm so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We didn't know him too well but, my son & I would see him at our neighborhood pool and he ALWAYS asked my son how he was doing and remembered what sports he played and they would talk about that. He always had a smile on his face and was genuinely happy to see you. His positive outlook and spirit will be missed by all, I'm sure. I will always have fond memories of our conversations.

Our family has wonderful and happy memories of Jim and the Maher family. As with most people our connection was Church, Mass, and gathering together as families. Our deepest sympathy as our thoughts and prayers go out to Rosemary and family. Tony & Ginny Torchia

What an awesome man Jim was, and we are so thankful to have known him. As others have said, he took such a genuine interest in us, was always so present in our conversations, and had a knack for remembering obscure facts about our family. I will always treasure our long conversations at the KM pool and I will never forget the joy I always felt upon seeing him at the Ascension school mass. What a very special man, who will be missed dearly by us and so many!

Great Human, Always in a Good Mood, Lighted up every room he walked into.

What do I not say about Jim ! He was an amazing father who, when he got home he went straight to the bathroom to give the smaller kids their bathes! After that he dove in making sure studies were done by all. I truly believe that when you say his name,it automatically brings a smile on on your face! He was loving to all, friends to anyone that met him and a father that none could compare to! He will be missed by many! My prayers go out to those that are families, those that were friends and...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
