Not sure what to say?

Fair winds and following seas Captain Mauldin .

Barbara is a dear dear friend and it was through her I came to know Jim. What an experience!!! Jim was a wonderful, courageous, honorable man who loved his dahlin' Barbara dearly. I feel honored I had the chance to know him. My heart goes out to his entire family. Fair winds, following seas, Mr. Mauldin...Alice

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Although I didn't know Jim well, I came to appreciate him and his couragous fight against cancer.

Jim was our brother-in-law and we will miss him. He and Barbara Ann were a great pair. Their love was easy to see when they were together. We thank Jim for his service to our country. To Barbara , Lori and the rest of the family we are soory for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love to you all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Jim was our next door neighbor and friend for over 12 years and I was with him and his family when he passed away. Jim was like a father to my husband John and me. We shared many an evening chatting and sipping a cocktail together with him and Barbara. Before he got his precious "Mimi-girl" he was a surrogate father to our sheltie Cosmo - taking him all over town with him. We will miss him more than words can say.

I had the pleasure of serving with Capt. Mauldin on board the Eisenhower.
He was my first C.O. (1979-1983) He was
a fine officer and a credit to the Navy. We need more men of his caliber.
He is now on his final patrol with friends and loved ones. We can look forward to sailing with him once more.
God bless you and your family and my
blessing on your loss.

My deepest condolences to the Mauldin Family...Because of good men like Capt Mauldin millions of people live in a free society. Thank you Captain Mauldin, smooth sailn...

Jim was a delightful person and a wonderful friend. We had some great times together....I truly loved him. And I love his wife, Barbara and am sad for her. However, Jim is now at peace after a long struggle. He deserves that peace. My thoughts continue to be with Barbara.
