On behalf of my family and myself, I want to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone for all of your love and support! I know many miss him, as he touched so many lives. Strangely enough, it brings peace as well, to know how many lives were touched. Family, friends, co-workers, Special Olympics and all the wonderful Athletes, he truly was blessed!

I am finding myself remembering fun times with my father, as I am sure many of you are doing by now.

Marty, I think of you often and hope you too are finding peace. My father loved you and had wonderful times with you and your family!

Thanks again to everyone. Your caring hearts and thoughtfulness has been deeply appreciated and a tremendous help!

Dad, until we meet again, please know I love and miss you! Our special times together will live on forever, in my heart and memory!

I was glad to see that so many people took the time to make entries is this guest book. I had never seen anything like this before. Everyone had such nice things to say about Mac. I'm sure it made his loved ones feel good to be able to read all these nice things about him. It will be nice to have a written record of these tributes so that any time they feel down they can read them and remember that there are alot of people out there who miss Mac, as I'm sure they do.

We were stunned when we heard the news on Saturday. Mac was a good person who enjoyed so much ... boating, working with Special Olympics, his family and many friends, and having fun. We had good times at Goose Harbor Marina over many years. Mac will be missed by many. Our prayers are with his daughter and family during this most difficult time. We will miss him.

Mac wasnt "officially" family to us yet, but he will be missed so very much. The memories we have of him will make us smile, laugh and cry for eternity. He was such a caring person to my family and we will miss him so very much. Aunt Marty, I will make sure that Kelby will hear the stories and know of her Uncle Mac. We love you.

I am home in Heaven, dear ones: Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last. Did you wonder I so calmly trod the valley of the shade? Oh! but Jesus' love illuminated every dark and fearful glade. And He came Himself to meet me in that way so hard to tread; And with Jesus' arm to lean on, could I have one doubt or dread. Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still; Try to look beyond earth's shadows, pray to trust our Father's Will. There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand; Do it now, while life remaineth-You shall rest in Jesus' land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come!

I was shocked when I heard Mac had passed....But they say 'the good die young'...Mac was always so pleasant and always had a smile on his face. He rolled with the punches...I never heard him complain. I know that Marty, Lisa, Chucky, Jen and the girls will miss him very much, as will all his friends and family. Although officially he was not one of our family yet...we will miss him as though he were. Katie, your Dad was a very special person. I will miss him. Hang in there Marty...time will ease your pain.. If you need anything...don't hesitate to call.
