Offering great sympathy to Dr. McGann's family. I was an intern at TTCSP at Penn in 2015-2016. Dr. McGann was so fun to work with and an incredible mentor. He gave all of us interns great opportunities to learn about the world of diplomacy, politics, and think tanks. I knew Jim well when I worked at the Brookings Institution. He was a keen mind, a skillful networker, the single most knowledgeable person I know on think tanks, and, most of all, a good friend.
