Not sure what to say?

Captain James McGrevey served on the Manchester Fire Department with my father, Tom Padden, for many years. My Dad always spoke so highly of him, not only as a dedicated firefighter, but also as a good friend. That friendship extended beyond professional firefighting responsibilities to frequent Saturday evening dining excursions when my parents, Tom and Marjorie Padden, had the opportunity to enjoy the company of "Jim and Betty McGrevey" at one of Manchester´s finest restaurants. A post...

Our prayers and thoughts are with Jim. From the children of his good firefighter, East Side Club, and Sweeney Post friend, Peter Perich. I am sure they are back together again.

My sincere condolences to the family’s of Jim McGrevey. I remember my dad, Larry Casey (Engine 3/Lake Ave St) speaking fondly of him as they shared hard work and many laughs. Sorry for your loss.
