My delayed condolences to the Mitchell Family. I had the honor & pleasure of getting to know Jim & Shirley while my mother was a resident of Barton Stone as well. Rest in peace Jim

Mrs. Mitchell, Mark, and family, I am so sorry for your great loss! I grew up with Mark in the Ashland School system and though I did not know your dad well, Mark, I remember him smiling when you spoke, with pride in his face. Bless you all during these sad moments in time and may your thoughts be filled with happy memories. ❤ Cindy (Roth) Quinn and family, Longwood, FL.

Sending prayers to Shirley and Families.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We would see the Mitchells at convention. Carl, his brother is a dear friend. I always remember them being together in conversation. It seemed there were few words but you could feel their love for each other and what their shared purpose was. He was a pillar and will be greatly missed. We are thinking of the family and so sorry we cannot be there.

Sorry to miss the funeral. Thinking of all that are there celebrating your life. Very grateful to have known you and had you in my life! Such a great mentor and influence.

My thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of our good friend Jim. Ive known Jim since 1982 and a real help and brother during my 15 years preparing at Mt. Sterling. He came at the right times and so loyal and faithful. His spirit reminds me of a lamb. We are a distance away in Central America but close in spirit and prayer. Others would like to be present as well, like Elaine that is in Guatemala and others unable for different reasons. My sympathy is with you, Shirley and...

Dear family of Jim,
I'm thankful for the memories I have of a welcoming home and the kindness shown because of the love Jim, as well as Shirley, had for what is Eternal.
In appreciation and sympathy,
