Mrs. Mitchell, Mark, and family, I am so sorry for your great loss! I grew up with Mark in the Ashland School system and though I did not know your dad well, Mark, I remember him smiling when you spoke, with pride in his face. Bless you all during these sad moments in time and may your thoughts be filled with happy memories. ❤ Cindy (Roth) Quinn and family, Longwood, FL.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We would see the Mitchells at convention. Carl, his brother is a dear friend. I always remember them being together in conversation. It seemed there were few words but you could feel their love for each other and what their shared purpose was. He was a pillar and will be greatly missed. We are thinking of the family and so sorry we cannot be there.

My thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of our good friend Jim. Ive known Jim since 1982 and a real help and brother during my 15 years preparing at Mt. Sterling. He came at the right times and so loyal and faithful. His spirit reminds me of a lamb. We are a distance away in Central America but close in spirit and prayer. Others would like to be present as well, like Elaine that is in Guatemala and others unable for different reasons. My sympathy is with you, Shirley and your children and grandchildren. May we accept graciously Gods will.

Oh, we know that dear name, 'Mitchell' and your face is so familiar. May we all cherish our loved ones more and more while time is here. Elaine Mitchell was such an inspiration to us when she labored here in Illinois. Sorry for the family's loss.

Uncle Jim gave me my first job when I left home. He inspired me a lot. One of my favorite memories is when we were finishing a brick fireplace and I could tell that we would be shy a few bricks. So I gathered approximately 50 scab bricks to finish the job as we had traveled a great distance. When Uncle Jim saw those bricks he said, "We can't use those". I said why not, "No would see these bricks". He rebuffed me and said, "That's not the point I know". So we cleaned up the job and made a special trip with new bricks to finish the job. What a mentor!! ❤
