Not sure what to say?

My Father was a QMCM (SS) who taught in the JROTC program at Bay View High School and in the ROTC program at Marquette University. I remember Captain Mulligan coming to MU a few times to speak on his experience. What an incredible human being. My Father insisted his students read his book. I grew up reading, "The Hanoi Commitment". Fair winds and following seas, Captain!

I met Mr Mulligan as a child. He and Louise were dear friends of my parents, Dale and Nancy Sisley. I have always been in awe of the Mulligans - their kindness, courage, and commitment to those they love. I´m late learning of Mr Mulligan´s passing, but would be remiss if I did not express our sincere condolences to the family on behalf of my mom and sisters. With deepest sympathy, Mary (Sisley) Butler

My sincere condolences to the Mulligan family during their time of loss and sadness. Capt. James Mulligan served our Nation with honor and distinction, and he endured unimaginable hardships during the long period he was held as a POW in North Vietnam. Through it all, he kept his strong faith in God and his commitment to the US Navy. I vividly recall wearing a POW bracelet with Capt. Mulligan´s name on it when I was a classmate of Neil´s at Star of the Sea (class of ´76). I also recall...
