I played ball with Jim, while we both worked for the Postal Service in Austin Tx. Jim was a great guy, and a talented player. I remember him talking about transferring back to Ohio, back in 1982-1983 timeframe. I was shocked to just learn about his passing in 2005. I´m not sure why, but he popped back into my memory a few minutes ago. I suppose that is what we all might like; to make enough difference wherever we go, so one´s memory lives on. I did not know Mr. Nevius, but I am a graduate of Pickerington. I am praying for the family. And to his children, I lost my father in July of '03. Be strong, you think you'll never get through it, but I promise, you will. I am praying for you all.

I will miss you Jimmy and all the sports talk and having a good time at work.God Bless You and your Family

I will truly miss Jim. He was an outstanding human being. I feel truly honored to have known him and worked with him over the past 4 years. My deepest sympathies to his family.
