I played ball with Jim, while we both worked for the Postal Service in Austin Tx. Jim was a great guy, and a talented player. I remember him talking about transferring back to Ohio, back in 1982-1983 timeframe. I was shocked to just learn about his passing in 2005. I´m not sure why, but he popped back into my memory a few minutes ago. I suppose that is what we all might like; to make enough difference wherever we go, so one´s memory lives on. I´m sorry I didn´t know until now, but I pray all family members are doing well. Rest in Peace Jim! Lee Laird

I did not know Mr. Nevius, but I am a graduate of Pickerington. I am praying for the family. And to his children, I lost my father in July of '03. Be strong, you think you'll never get through it, but I promise, you will. I am praying for you all.
