Dear Susan and family The UK Ryder Cup 11 team and their wives are so sad to hear about Jim. I have very fond memories of him as part of the US team for many years. I played golf with him many times - and always lost! Jim was a real gentleman and very good company. Susan, our thoughts are with you and we hope you will find comfort from the many tributes I am sure you will receive. Our love and best wishes Chris and Shinaine Wykes

Ivy and I are so saddened about Jim's passing. He was a lifetime friend and a true gentleman. I will always treasure our times together at Woodberry. Jim, Si, Tommy, and I were the Four Horsemen (Notre Dame football backfield 1924) and I will lays treasure these memories. Ben
