What I will remember most about Jim are his smiling eyes and his whole face crinkling, caught up in the spirit of joyfulness and warmth. He was such a kind man and a thoughtful person. My heart aches for you as you grieve JIm's departure. You can rest assured that his great smile is adding to the lustre of Eternity.

My deepest sympathies to the Pendleton family. Jim was a terrific person and will be greatly missed by the staff and students of William Penn.

It was a pleasure to know Jim, he was such a kind, gentle and humble man. The students and the staff that he interacted with here at York High were fortunate to have him as a confidant and sounding board. As a person that enjoyed gardening, it was great to discuss that with him. In fact before he left for the summer, he came to see me in the main office to give me a gift of seeds, in a little homemade box. I will miss him.
