James Rowland

I met Jim and Irene in the 60's. They were a fun couple and I loved them both. I enjoyed listening to Jim talk about whatever he felt like talking about. I left the Bay Area in the early 70's but they came and visited me in Plumas County around 1980. My condolenses to their son Dave.

I met James through my sister, Reem- his next door-neighbor- well, I should re-phrase that because James was much more than a neighbor...he was family. When I'd come for a visit from Texas, one my greatest pleasures was to sit with him and hear his insights in the way of politics and learn from his wisdom in the way of life. Our sympathy to Jim's family, and especially to his son, David, and to the Nasrah family. Jim and Irene were our neighbors for almost 30 years, and we'll always remember them with love and appreciation.
