Kathi and Family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. I first met Jim when he was commander of the Marysville unit and worked with him until I retired. He was a dedicated military man who always made time for his family. He did a lot for the Kansas National Guard for which we will forever be indebted. The medical battles in his later life was a testimony to his perseverance and drive. May God be with you and your family.

So sorry to hear about Jim, I remember your barn as being a landmark going to Grandma and Grandpa Handley's House, Keep Smiling That is what Jim always said to me when I babysat of you. He would want all of you to keep smiling and remember the good memories. God Bless all of you.I will say a special prayer for all of you today.

We are so sorry for your loss. Gen. Rueger will always be remembered in Pratt and by us for his assistance in getting our new ball complex started. Whenever we visit the complex we will think of him and his generosity in helping the City of Pratt. He was a good man.

I served under Gen Rueger after returning from Desert Storm. He was a frequent visitor at Forbes and was well thought of. My best wishes to the family.
