Not sure what to say?

Dear Joan and Family members,

I had just spoke to Carlton recently. He was the nicest man I have ever known. He helped me keep my spirits up in so many ways. I will miss talking to him and I think God for his kindness and insights. He was an inspiration to me. I will truly miss him.

Love Karen, Stephen & Brandon Fox

Dear Joan and Tony,

For one of the finest men we have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

All of our lives were enriched because of a man named Carlton Shackelford.

I can't believe he's gone. He was the kindest man I've ever met. He helped my mom with all kinds of motors and was there whenever she needed him. My sisters and I just enjoyed talking to him. I'll never forget the story about John D. Rockerfeller. What a blessed community and family you all were. Please accept our sincere sympathy.

I had the pleasure of knowing Carlton for many years. He was such a sweet and caring man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I have just heard of the loss of Carlton, I can not believe it and wish he was still here with us even though I know he is in a better place. He was a great friend and will be missed dearly. To the family even though I did not know you personally, I appologize to you and Carlton for not being able to make it to any of the services but I have been out of town and just found out of his loss tonight. I've known Carlton for several years and have alot of fond memories of stopping and just talking...

We were so saddened to hear of Mr. Shackleford's passing. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He always made time for those in need no matter what day or what time. If there's anything in Heaven that needs fixing, you know he'll be there to repair it. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family members.

Joan, Tony and family, So sorry to read of Carlton's death. He was a real gentleman. Thinking of you.
