Not sure what to say?

Uncle Jim and our granddaughter, Adrienne, at the piano!

Uncle Jim, as we fondly referred to him in his later years, was a friend for more than 30 years and he and Helen were as dear to us as family. After Helen passed in 2007, we spent more time than usual with Jim, trying to look after him, or perhaps it was vice-versa. I'm so glad I got to know Jim these last 8 years. He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. He will never be forgotten and will always have a place in my heart as the entire Shackelford Family does! Rest in Peace Jim.

We will miss you uncle Jim. I am glad you are at peace and with aunt Gus now. I was just reading over some of my old emails I had saved from you both, they put a smile on my face while at the same time bringing a tear to my eye.

I feel blessed to have known 'Uncle Jim', I will miss listening to his stories, and meeting him at Kachina for lunch or just sitting on his deck watching the birds and golfers go by. We will miss you dear friend.

Uncle Jim was an amazing man and a wonderful uncle to us all. We miss you, Sue and Mike Spahle
