Not sure what to say?

Jim was very fun and a great next-door neigbor. I loved that guy! Hope to make Heaven my new home and be neighbors with Jim and Donnie again. Of course, Donnie and I are still on Earth, but we'll get there.

Jim was a fine man. Bob Heslinga

Jim and Donalda had been excellent friends even after I moved to Tucson. I remember with fondness a trip to Stanley Lake, UP. I'm grateful for this opportunity to pay tribute to Jim and his family! --Bob Heslinga

So sad to hear of Mr. Shirmer's passing. I have fond memories of you both and your family. Love and Prayers, Cindy Williams

I´m so sorry I could not be there tonight. Donnie you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you find peace and comfort. Jim was a great neighbor and will missed. I have some great memories of Jim and fun stories too.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. So wish I could have been there in person to say goodbye and see him one last time. My heart aches for you all. Thoughts and prayers for you all. Love, Diane (Shirmer) Miller.

Dear Donalda, I am so sorry for your loss. I fondly remember our St. Scholastica days, riding this Touhy Ave. bus. I am keeping you, Jim and your family in my prayers. Valerie Downes.
