Not sure what to say?

Dear Family:
Pam & I were deeply saddened upon learning of your loss. Jim was a mentor for us all at the Elks & Spokane Club both on and off the court. God will certainly remember the many years he faithfully sung the Alleluia for Father Gobel at the early morning mass. Although we're out of town our prayers & thoughts are with you.

Bob & Pam Brown

To the Slavin family-
Mark and I wish to express our deepest sympathy for your monumental loss. Mark has wonderful memories of Jim both professionally and also from the years of playing handball at the Spokane Club. I did not have the pleasure of knowing him but I was friends with Lori when she and I were in the Hotel business in Seattle. I know how much she cherished her father.
We will keep you in our healing thoughts and prayers.

Jim Jr,

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I did not get the chance to meet your Dad, but I know how much he meant to you. Going forward will be tough, but please hold on to the great memories and live life to the fullest as you know he would have wanted. Hugs and strength to you and your entire family.

To the Slavin family- I did'nt have the pleasure or honor of kowing Mr. Slaivn, SR., however I do have the pleasure and honor of working with Skip Slavin over the past few years.

My heart felt prayers and thoughts are with the family and all those who will miss Mr. Slavins presence in their lives. Gods peace.

Connie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sending you lots of love and hugs. I am so sorry about your loss . I'll keep you all in my prayers...

Dear Joanne, I'm having a little trouble with this because we just visited briefly after the 8 AM mass two weeks ago, and he looked healthy and fit as ever. Jim and I shared many great moments in PNW handball tournaments over the years, and our fraternity and fellowship of handballers will greatly miss his ever present smile and friendship.

Joanne, what can we say, except that we all lost a wonderful friend and we send you our deepest sympathy. He will be greatly missed here in Chaparrol but with all your wonderful friends around, you won't be alone. our love , Nan and Bill

We are so sorry for your sudden loss of such a great Father. We hope you see his spirit and passion for life often in the faces of your children. We know you were all so close to him and that he was an active part of your lives. Hugs and prayers to all of you, Connie and Gil Carter Jack and AJ Edwards

To Joanne and family: Just read about Jim's passing and wanted to express our sympathy. Jim was the epitome of a good person and a great family man. We always admired his fitness and sports abilities. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Priscilla and Harold Gilkey ( La Quinta, CA.)
