Welcome home soldier. My mother's first husband was shot down over Germany and as such, it was never possible for him to be returned home to the US. Thank you for your service and sacrifice for our country.

As a child born in the 50's I was able to enjoy the rewards of a great life earned by brave men like Sam Smith, who gave their life at a young age defending America.My dad was a Marine in WWII and he raised me to respect the people who died serving our country. So how do I repay PFC Samuel Smith, my dad lived to be 92 and Sam died in 1943. I know what he gave up.
