A beauiful man. I lived with James for 2 years. He was a gentle man, but with clear and strong ideas on how we Franciscans should live and impact society. His memory lives on in the social outreach that bears his name as well as his lasting character.

Dear Teresa, Jon, Amy, Christine and Zak,
Sending you my sincere condolences. Like so many others, I also celebrate Jim's incredible life, his giving spirit and his steadfast dedication to the children and youth of Albany, who he served for so many years. Of course, I have many great memories of those years at BBBS and Siena, working alongside him and all of you! I am sorry I couldn't be there to share his goodbye with you. Sending you my best wishes and lots of love.
