I only new Jim for a year as freshmen at BGSU. He and I were roommates and I only saw him once after that year. He and I had a lot of laughs. As others have said here, his sense of humor was very near the surface of who he was. I had knew that he would be successful as he enjoyed the business classes he was taking and it was almost as though he couldn't wait to get started. Sometimes I feel like I've met every kind in the walk of life, and I can't think of another person who liked to laugh, tell a joke or share a story as much as Jim Stapleton. Wish more were like him...
