Dear Pat and family:
When Clair McCaskill gave Jill's eulogy I remember her referring to Jim as the "Redwood" in Jill's life. He truly was a big man in more than just stature - he was quiet, caring, friendly and very very talented. We have several things in our homes that were created by Jim (with Pat's urging) and they will always serve to remind of us of him in the future. Your dad was one of a kind, and was a delight to work with since 1991, when I first shared space with the "Kuraner & Schwegler" firm. He was an excellent lawyer, and a proud father, so proud to work with his son. So sorry for your loss but so grateful for his gain, Eternal Life in Christ. Pat, Jeff, Jay & Families: I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing and my prayers are with all of you. He was a great presence in this life - a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. I feel fortunate that our two families are linked and we have celebrated some wonderful times together.
