Big Jim was one of the most unique and unforgettable persons I have ever known. Our condolences to the Streicher family. I got to know Jim primarily through his Tuesday afternoon appearances following his drive from Findlay and his time spent with several of us at "The Cafe Marie" in Maumee. I was a Toledo athlete and well remember Jim working on campus, helping coaches, driving players places, being a complete "Rocket man."
