James Thornton Obituary

Thornton James "Jimmy" Thornton, age 61, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Jimmy was the owner and operator of J&B's Painting for many years. He was preceded in death by his step-father John Piccione, infant brother Stephen Thornton and grandparents Lewis and Majorie Harding. He is survived by his children, Kim (Don) Davies, James "Jake" (Kemberly) Thornton, Jr., and Matt (Brooke) Thornton; grandchildren, Dakota, Paige, James III, Jacob, Jeremy, and one on the way; mother, Shirley Piccione; father, James Thornton; sisters, Vicki Needles, Debbie (Jim) Levisay, and Karen Moore; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday, May 6, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, where funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 10 a.m. Pastor Avery Little officiating. Please visit www.Schoedinger.com to share a memory of Jimmy.

Jimmy you may be gone from us here but you'll never be forgotten.I can remember back when we worked with My dad and granpa and I managed to take your 20 dollars for carrying 2 five gallons of paint from one side of the parking lot to the other when I was like 15.Thanks for the 20.Thas only one memory I hjave from way back.Tommy
