James Tyler Obituary
James Edmund Tyler was the beloved husband of Margaret and the loving father of James (Aurelia) Jay. He passed away peacefully with his wife by his side. James was born in Akron, Ohio on September 28, 1935 and graduated from Akron University. He served in the Navy and was a Petty Officer 3rd Class. James had a successful career in the tire industry working as an executive for B.F. Goodrich, Eldorado Tire and Hercules Tire. He was an avid golfer, member of the Great Oak Golf Course, and a sports enthusiast. He will be greatly missed. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive in Rochester. A private funeral service will take place. www.pixleyfunerahome.com

Jim, was a wonderful guy. I met him helping him a few business things turned into a wonderful friendship as well. He always noted when I was tardy when we would meet! Lol
Jim, I will miss you and our yearly breakfast meetings.
Jim you will be missed by so many.
