Not sure what to say?

Jim and my late husband Robert Skip Chernov were partners in Jeffrey Entertainment L.P. Which secured the film rights to Ted Williams' life story. Although I hadn't spoken to Jim in years I have fond memories of him and admired his courage, tenacity and kindness. I regret they didn't get the film made but it came down to the money required by Ted as the deal breaker. The late Treat Williams, a fine actor, was chosen to play Ted.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I don´t remember Jim but we attended the same camp in the early 1950´s. About 4-5 years ago, he found my number and called me to let me know how much my dad meant to him growing up at this camp where our family worked during the summers from `48 thru `58. Jim lived quite the life and that call meant a lot to me in remembrance of my dad. Thank you Jim

Jim Vinick will be missed very much, we are sorry that we had not spoken to him recently. Mr & Mrs Ronald Windoloski. May his memory be a blessing.

Jim was married to my cousin Harriet, and although I didn't know him very well I liked and respected and admired him. I knew him to be smart, considerate, generous, kind, funny, and thoughtful. Great package of traits! We talked occasionally, and those conversations always were a pleasure and interesting. I send condolences to the very many people who care about him.

Jim, was my colleague at ABC40 and LCTV. He led the way in Western MA with excellent financial advice. He worked with Advest 7 in Springfield as a consultant outside his community service. He encouraged me to save my money. I helped him produce his Vinick Report at LCtV. He was with Gill on the new community TV commitee that expanded Longmeadow´s reach. He was really supportive. Condolences to his family.

Dear Stacy and Michael, we are so sorry to hear about your loss . He sounds like a man who did so much good in the world . May his memory be eternal . Beverley Earle and John Sloan.

Jimmy´s parents were friends with my parents, and Jimmy continued that friendship too! He paid a condolence call for my dad, Leonard (not to be confused with your grandpa). We now live in Florida and California and read if his passing in the WSJ today. So sorry for your loss. He was a special guy. Who will commission a statue for him? It´s appropriate!

Every year Jim would attend our Longmeadow High School baseball banquet to present a trophy in honor of his son, Jeffrey. He was a strong supporter of our program and a class guy. Condolences to his family.
