Dear Louise,
Madelyn and I were so saddened to hear yesterday of Jim's passing. When we would meet at '49ers events he would always have a smile and a kind word. We will miss him, and ask that our class memorial mass on Thursday will be dedicated to an outstanding GOLDEN EAGLE; God Bless All your family.

My deepest condolences to the Whelton Family. Dr. Whelton was a great man of many qualities. He will be deeply missed.

Jim's compassion was only matched by Helen's. May we all have a fraction as much.

I an so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the Whelton family. I really enjoyed all of my interactions with Dr. Whelton; he never failed to put a smile on my face.
